"In 2001 I opted to specialise in urological cancer and took up the post at UHNS as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in urological cancer.
I have very much appreciated the support that patients need throughout the time of receiving a cancer diagnosis and the potential confusion that accompanies details of the disease and treatments ahead.
The success of the prostate cancer support group has been overwhelming and very much due to the commitment and hard work on the members. I am extremely proud to be a part of it. "
