About us

Here at North Staffs Cancer Support Group, we ensure that all our members feel welcome and supported during a difficult time in their lives. Whatever happens, we are a friendly group ensuring each individual sufferers needs are met. During a time when there are many unanswered questions we can answer them. During a time when there is much pain, we can offer relief. During a time there is much darkness, we can offer light, and during a time when many feel alone, we can offer support. Our motto is 'Tackling It Together', and that is a message we firmly stand by. New members are always welcomed with open arms and support provided for all those that need it.

The Lymes Cancer Information and Support Centre is a safe and relaxed environment where you can talk, in confidence, to our friendly and professional members of staff about your concerns and questions about cancer. You are welcome to visit the Centre if you, or a relative or friend, have been affected by cancer. The Centre can also offer advice on how to prevent cancer or how to recognise the symptoms of early cancer. You do not need an appointment to visit them, except for the benefits advice service and the Tuesday afternoon Dove counselling service. You can call in or phone at a time to suit yourself.
