Our members always have peace of mind that they have all the support they could need, plus helpful tips and advice on how to make your quality of life better, speed up recovery and contribute in any way possible to getting better. Our members always have a good experience and find a time to relax and share their worries with mutual sufferers.
We have written one of our members comments to give a small insight into the work we do.
John Beardmore was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2001 said,
"One thing I was told at the same time was that if I had to have Cancer this was the best one to have, because it is relatively slow growing. The medical staff to, have been superb, and very helpful and supportive. As have the local support group. I am 73 now and relatively fit, I walk most days and every weekend. I never use lifts or escalators if they can be avoided. I eat sensibly most of the time, and just generally enjoy every day."

Our group were not the only beneficiary of the event as the British Heart Foundation also received a cheque for £580. Thanks again to all concerned.
